“This was such a unique find! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We stayed in cabin 6 and had a great view of the creek. The pool at the sister hotel was perfect for our kids to jump in and cool off. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. The room was crisp and clean. The staff was so accommodating through text from the initial booking all the way through until checkout time. I highly recommend if you're looking for a weekend away in the hill country.”

“Loved the getaway. However, being in the middle of nowhere, it would have been helpful if the store had been open. We checked in at 4:00, the store closed at 5:00. It closed at 2:00 the next day. Our cabin was where we could see people coming and going in hopes of buying something at the store. It would have been helpful if the ice was self-serve as the closest ice was 10 miles away. Since we didn't check out until late morning Tuesday, we should have had pool passes for Tuesday morning. ……
