For being in the Charleston downtown area, we were ecstatic to see they had a shuttle to MUSC ART building. We were there for my surgery; this took a great deal of worry off our shoulders. My only comment is the bathtub did not drain well in room 413. Otherwise everything was excellent!

Rooms were nice though a little aged with rust spots showing through the painted bottom of the tub. Pool looked great, the food was excellent and the panoramic view from the top floor restaurant was amazing.

I stayed at Holiday Inn- Riverview in Charleston, SC because of the affordability, proximity to downtown, nearby beaches, and the fact that they had a gym and a pool. My room was spacious, spotless, and had a remarkably comfortable bed. They offer shuttle service to and from downtown every hour. The drivers were friendly and knowledgeable. They told us about the history of Charleston and pointed out important landmarks and even made meal suggestions. My favorite part however, was the restaurant. The views were spectacular and the food was delicious. Most importantly, the staff was staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Jo Jo the bartender made excellent drinks and Alvaro the restaurant supervisor was warm, kind, and efficient. It also nice that he spoke Spanish, I could see that customers really appreciated this. Overall, my experience at this hotel was wonderful. I would highly recommend it to others.
