It’s one of the most amazingly beautiful properties in the US. Everything is groomed to perfection. The views to the winery and vid vines below will never be forgotten. My pictures just don’t replicate the reality. Congrats ERIC. One low point was an average breakfast and the drive to town.

The property is actually part of the University and we stayed before the students returned so was very quiet. Disappointed that the on-site pub was closed on weekend evenings. Go figure! Apart from that it was great value for an excellent hotel

We truly enjoyed our stay Whispering Oaks! It was a perfect distance from Wintergreen for us to enjoy skiing and the benefit of lodge amenities without the stuffiness of a hotel. The house was well lit and warm when we arrived I must say this touch was especially appreciated as we arrived at night ...
