Flight attendants were not particularly interactive on the flights but were responsive when asked, which seemed to us to be the Virgin America “model” for handling passengers. Our departure on the first leg of our return was delayed over 1-1/2 hours due a maintenance problem, so we were very concerned about making our connection from SFO to RDU. Our first flight arrived at SFO five minutes before the scheduled departure of our second flight. When we deplaned, the boarding agent apparently had been notified and the aircraft’s departure must have been delayed to allow us to board. When we arrived at RDU, we were amazed that our luggage arrived as well. Impressive under the circumstances! We will fly Virgin America again.
