"I was allowed to check in early. The staff member told me that I should really tip the housekeeper because she cleaned a room fast for me. When I got to the room the only part that had been cleaned was the bathroom. The bed was dirty and clearly slept in, the trashes had not been taken out and there were crumbs all over the desk. Called the front desk and was told they would send someone up, an hour later no one had shown so I called down again and the staff member gave me attitude about how the hotel is sold out and it’s busy. By the time I left and came back at night still no one had come to clean the room. "

"This is one of the more confusing hotels. Taking the elevator in the lobby to the second floor means you take the elevator down not up because the lobby is technically the 4th floor. Staff was great, hotel room is not very convenient. Shocked at how small the bathroom was. And balcony had a view of the Charles river but it was blocked by an outdoor tent so sitting on the balcony was useless. Not a great stay "

"Despite the on-going renovation, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious. Exercise room has a Peloton bike, which my husband used daily. One negative is that we could hear neighbors nightly. The corners of the bathroom and door at floor level need replacing. "
