"There was a mixup between you and the host. We were given 2 different lock codes, so we were outside for approximately 20-30 minutes trying to gain entry. Tell guests everything about the property, lightning, whether the stove is operational or not and that there is a washer, but no dryer."

There’s a fire pit in the back yard, a deck with a charcoal grill, hot tub was amazing, and we didn’t see any bugs or roaches or creepy crawlers during our entire stay. "Our group of 6 adults enjoyed a great stay at this property for a week. Close to the beach and other activities we had planned. We all had enough space for privacy and the large kitchen/dining area was excellent for making meals and playing board games. Sony, the host, was very responsive to a few questions and unforeseen incidents that occurred. My only "complaint" is that a burner on the stove does not work and the bottom rack of the dishwasher is missing a wheel and therefore does not roll...

"This Island House meets all expectations for anyone looking for a beach getaway including a couple, couples, or a family. The addition of bikes, kayaks, and everything needed for a day at the beach adds to the value. The house is an easy 5 mile drive or bike ride from the beach and the neighborhood is in an imminently walkable area of town. You will have plenty of walkable options for eating and sightseeing from this house."

"We loved this neighborhood. We had close access to Union Station, Circulator bus and the H street bus. We are 4 retirees who enjoyed a week in DC. The only down side was there was no toaster, oven or cooktop; although we managed just fine. The host communicated regularly and quickly when we had questions. Minor repairs should be done but overall a 5 star stay!"
