“The location of this apartment is okay, and check-in was very smooth. The apartment is a bit worn in some places and could benefit from some maintenance, especially the windows, the blinds, and baseboard heaters are broken. The toilet was not cleaned and there was no toilet paper. I contacted the host and he did drop some off about 6 hours later. For the kitchen, the oven, underneath the sink, and the utensil drawer were not cleaned. A quick heads-up to future guests, bring your own linens.……

“The Cozy Getaway Suite was indeed cozy, clean, easy check in and out, and just enough space for me and my husband. The decor is what drew me to the Cozy Suite. It’s stylish and decorated beautifully. The location wasn’t in a bad neighborhood but not what I expected. We are looking forward to our next Cozy Suite getaway. ”

“Description and photos set appropriate expectations. Yes, there is an elevated train outside the door. Did it bother us? No, we were expecting it and being close to a stop was an added plus for touring the city. The studio was clean, the host communicated quickly and clearly when the VRBO website didn't so that we had no delay in checking in, the toiletry amenities were unexpected and thoughtful, and the prepared notebook of options for restaurants and places to visit was appreciated. Only……

“I was very impressed by the property and its description.”

“The unit itself was as described. We felt safe even though the neighborhood was a bit sketchy. Although the listing states “on site parking available”, we didn’t receive a pass and had to park on the street. There is a train track directly behind the building and trains ran regularly. The few residents that we met were friendly.”

“I've never left a bad review before this but I would strongly advise NOT staying here. Upon arrival there was a very strong chemical smell which continued even after opening doors and windows. We left for dinner and noticed both of us were coughing which we thought was odd. When we returned and tried to sleep and the coughing became really bad and we were even noticing some discomfort taking deep breaths. At 5:30am we could not take it any longer and had to inconvenience a friend to come to……

“Little trouble getting in but host was responsive despite the late hour. I would have appreciated a more accurate description of the parking situation. Not only is there no parking on site, there is no parking anywhere close. The place is nice and roomy.”
