“This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming. The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome. In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less. We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area.”

“This is the review that I really dit want to do. The staff were lovely and the 'Hotel' was conveniently close to the ferry and close to the City centre The staff were great, everywhere was clean and the ‘free’ breakfast was great. The issue with this property is basic maintenance. The shower was right next to the toilet where the water went straight onto the floor. The shower was very weak and took a long time to hear up. Even though there was a slight slope you would still get water around……

“The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food and beer is good and great value. Parking is a bit tight, so arrive early if you are checking in! If you want to eat, make sure you reserve a table. We found out the hard way on Saturday lunchtime that you can't always get a meal, even if you are a resident. Other than that, it's a good place to stay. It's quiet at night due to the location and the fact that the bar isn't open until late.”
