Cozy 2-bedroom house in charming Chiefland with WiFi, AC
10/10 Excellent
"Our family our four was in Chiefland for a wedding. We were very pleased with this VRBO. It was clean and well maintained. Check-in was very smooth, and the host was great at answering our questions before our stay. The kitchen facility was nice for cooking meals in between our activities, and the beds were comfortable (our kids loved the bunk bed). We were a little surprised to be woken up in the morning by the neighborhood roosters, but that was nothing that our earplugs couldn’t help. We would stay here again if we came back to the Chiefland area."
Riverfront Otter House with boat dock. 10 mins from springs, 20 from Cedar Key
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful location on the Suwannee River. Close to Manatee Springs and the Gulf. So happy to be able to bring and dock a boat. Boat ramp is 2 minutes down the road. The neighbors were extremely friendly. The house was clean and spacious enough for our large group. The only downside to our stay is that one room with a King bed was extremely warm while the rest of the home was nice and cool. It would not cool down enough, to the point that we opted to sleep on an air mattress next to the kitchen instead of in that room after the first night. Besides that, we could not be happier with our stay!"
"My wife and I were a little apprehensive when we booked a cozy cabin near Fanning Springs for a mini-vacation instead of our usual beach getaway. But we were pleasantly surprised.“Cozy” doesn’t begin to describe it—quiet, peaceful, and full of natural magic. Time seemed to pause there. While sitting on the porch, a brave kitty approached us, and soon a whole tribe of cats had adopted us, offering nonstop purring therapy. The next day we launched the canoe and paddled through stunning Bell Springs toward the Suwannee River. Once on the river, massive armored fish—some as long as our canoe—leapt from the water and crashed back down, explaining the “Danger, Jumping Sturgeon” signs along the shore. It felt like a real adventure. We paddled to Suwannee Belle Landing, where we found free canoe parking and the best coconut shrimp I’ve ever had. Recharged, we made our way back to our cabin retreat.Another highlight was the nearby Lighthouse Restaurant, where time slowed again thanks to a full salad bar and a mouthwatering combo of steak and snow crab legs. When we finally left, the cat tribe was clearly disappointed—and so were we. But we returned feeling completely refreshed. A magical escape we’re still talking about weeks later."

"I was looking for a place to stay when my van broke down. I ended up getting some peaceful rest at Sandie’s. She's a great host, and I will be back. I really enjoyed my stay there. A nice, clean, quiet place to visit. Thank you Sandie!"
