“I was looking for a mountain retreat/getaway for my husband and I while I had work in the area and found this hideaway. It is very remote from town, fishing was great, and the cabin was spacious enough for us. We even had "Harry" the duck greet us. She was so entertaining. The dock straight out the back door and the upper screened porch was the highlight. Take the boat out too! Like others, the shower is workable.The only con for me was the Wifi. “I was just telling a friend that if I had to rebook this trip I would start with rebooking this house. The four of us found plenty of room to spread out and relax after driving the mountain roads around the resort. We cooked a meal in the kitchen and found everything where you would just expect to be.
