“The only concern was the elevator was out and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. ”

“What’s good: the room was spacious, the staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable. What’s bad; breakfast was terrible, only hot sausage and waffles for hot dishes. Absolutely not as advertised. The hotel was very dirty. There was construction on upper floors, which we didn’t hear or see. But no one vacuumed the hallway forever. Our bathroom had a thick layer of dust on everything.”

“My stay was fine, even if the price was a little high for the value. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The location was good, with easy access to restaurants and GSMNP. The grounds of the hotel were beautifully manicured. My only complaint was with the included breakfast. It was not served until 8:00, and the only items served were breads/pastries, cereals, hard boiled eggs, and drinks. No hot entrees, no fresh fruit, no yogurt, and……

“The Sleepy Bear was a wonderful surprise. We booked to save money and because of the great reviews. It did not disappoint. Everything was spotless: linens crisp, towels fresh, parking lot without a scrap of trash. The AC worked great, the shower was hot, water pressure surprisingly good, and a cooked to order breakfast. Would happily stay again. ”

“The hotel's Wi-Fi caused me a lot of trouble. It connected automatically without needing to connect but I couldn't use it. What's more terrible is that it also blocked the data signal of our mobile phone. The second point of dissatisfaction is that there are ants on the bed and floor. The third point is that there are many people during breakfast service, and milk can only be obtained by queuing in the buffet area. There should be milk in the coffee area.”
