“The house is beautiful, it’s a great experience, the breakfast and the after tour. But there is a BIG BUT…we stay in the siege room because we didn’t want to spend that much because we were arriving late, and it’s was just a night and we were planning to wake up early ande leave because we had a long drive home, so that said… I would definitely stay here again but I would never book the siege room…you don’t have privacy, you enter the room through the kitchen so you feel a little bit awkward,...

“Don’t stay here!! Dark dingy room. Not well stocked and dirty. They took a $50 deposit from us that was to be refundable and never refunded us. We contacted VRBO they tried contacting the owners three times and could not get a response from them. We tried to contact the owners and never got a response. On a positive note the grounds were nice. ”

“The original rv that I booked did not work out. However, the host moved me to one of their tiny homes on the bank of the River. Let me tell you, WOW. As nice a vrbo property as I have ever stayed. The property was worth double the original property fee but the gracious host declined my offer to pay more. Minutes away from the battlefield park and the casinos. This is the place to stay in Vicksburg for me from now on.”

“Very nice staff. Easy check-in. Room was quaint. It was very quiet which was great. The room was clean and orderly. It is an old home, but was quite pleasant. This isn’t a criticism, but to let other travelers know, the refrigerator and microwave are in the shared living room area. They are not in the individual rooms. The location of the property was also excellent for sightseeing, and near a variety of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.”
