“I loved the quirkiness of the hotel The host was really helpful. The facilities and guest area have everything you need with a kitchen area which has a stocked fridge with yogurts fruit sauces butter etc. Coffee making and selection of teas. Relaxing lounge with self-service bar and honesty payment. Great location for blues fans. The location has a gritty feel and is quite run down but full of live music venues and bars including the famous ground zero blues club and Reds.”

“This is a well located hotel with very attentive staff and a really comfortable room. We had an awesome night sleep and a simple but good breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.”

“The bathroom was not acceptable and bathroom toilet was stained very bad and no housekeeper came to clean it until the 4th day of my stay. I complain to Desk keeper and no one responded. Bathtub needed work. The stay was not good for me. Hopefully the Manager will respond to me about my complaints.”

“The check in window wasn’t clean: Dirty, spider webs, cigarette butts, etc. The bedsheets and bedspread had cigarette burn holes and cuts on them. The sink faucet needs replacing. The bathtub had cigarette burns on it. The bathtub mat was sticky, stained and stuck to the bathtub. The toilet seat was loose. The room didn’t have a good smell. I’m glad I had my Lysol spray to spray the bed and room. There wasn’t a clothes hook or clothe rack to hang my clothes on. They have a sign up “No Refunds”……
