“We were only here for one night. I thought it was on the isle of sky. It is not but in the town of Mallaig. We needed to take a ferry to the island or travel 2 1/2 hours around to get there. We didn’t know this, so we missed scheduling. The weather was very cold and wet the next morning so we decided to bypass the isle of skye. The drive to Mallaig and all the sites of glencoe and the highlands made the trip totally worth it. We were in total awe.”

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
