“We had a lovely stay. The hotel has been nicely renovated and you can tell they have paid attention to the small details. We especially liked that they provided The Scottish Fine Soaps Company toiletries, which was a nice touch. As we had an early ferry to catch the next morning, the hotel thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for us the night before. “The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”

“Wir waren vor unserem Aufenthalt etwas skeptisch, da die bisherigen Bewertungen sehr unterschiedlich ausfielen. Im Nachhinein können wir aber sagen, dass wir uns hier wohlgefühlt haben. Natürlich gibt es ein paar kleinere Kritikpunkte. Die Dusche war etwas umständlich und dadurch auf Dauer etwas nervig. Dafür waren die Betten hervorragend – wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Die Sauberkeit war ebenfalls einwandfrei. Das Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung. Entgegen mancher Bewertungen herrschte kein……

“A beautiful property in a very quiet village, which we loved. A really good base to travel around the Isle of Skye. Breakfast was fab too! We stayed in the manse house and had a large room with double aspect. Great bathroom. Shower was amazing!”
