"It's a resort! And beautiful! Our room, on the ground floor and dog friendly, opened up to a patio with an expansive yard for our pup to run. The resort offers great amenities for guests. The lobby and dining areas are lovely - a huge fireplace welcomes you. There is fruit-infused water for you with lemons and strawberries which is so refreshing. The rooms are large and bathrooms are very clean. Apotheke brands of soap/shampoo is lovely! The breakfast is absolutely worth getting! The staff are WONDERFUL and the food is amazing. It knocks any other hotel chain out of the water. You have the option for a FULL buffet and I mean - anything you could imagine - and/or ordering off the menu. Terrific service and streamlined efficiency with lots of people. Made to order eggs/omelets, and all the southern fixin's you need. If I had anything to suggest for improvement - it's hard to find. Our GPS took us to the entrance to Sam's Club which isn't good because there are beggars at all the stop signs. They need better signage, if possible, when coming off the expressway. And, the carpet in the hallways and rooms is far too old - a bit of a musky scent. Technical - the ice machine on the first floor was broken. Could maybe put a sign for where another one is? Other than that - I would not hesitate to stay here again."
