Best Resorts in Colorado Western Slope

"Beauty, but not a lot of sleep. Our room was at the front of the hotel, which gave us a great view. The problem was that it was very loud. The highway traffic sounds and the train were extremely loud. The hotel did not seem crowded, so I don't know why they put us in such a loud room. That said, everything else was great. "

"Selected this location planning to relax in the hot tub. Come to find out neither pool or hot tub were operational. Room darkening shade was also non-operational sohad the glare of outside lights all night just dampened by the view hindering shade."

"Location was superb for skiing. Overall very happy because that is what we came for. Free shuttle for guests was great. Pool and hot tubs were very nice. Suite was clean but tired. Looked old. Shower drain was sluggish. Water pressure was very low. Shades in master bedroom were broken and could not be lowered to block out the light. Maintenance was very responsive but not much they could do. The in-house grocery / Starbucks was terrible. Extremely expensive and terrible food. No prices on anything except the beer, which was $8 a can. I would recommend this as a great location for ski-in, ski-out accommodations but it is not a four star hotel."

Unfortunately, there were several negative aspects. The big downside is that the pool was not heated. The website says it should be 85 degrees and it was nowhere near that. Apparently, the "
