“Breakfast was stellar! The rooms were clean. I do wish they offered later hour in the restaurant for dinning and drinking. Otherwise very nice stay.”

“Das Hotel ist schon ziemlich abgelegt und an vielen Ecken abgenutzt (Badefliesen lose, Schubladen, die nicht richtig schließen, Deko, die teilweise kaputt ist etc.). Schade, denn eigentlich ist die Unterkunft (Burg) sehr gut für eine originelle Art der Übernachtung. Für eine Nacht war es ok. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück isst man am besten von der Karte, da die Büffetauswahl doch sehr eingeschränkt ist.”

“The exterior of the Inn could benefit from some improvements. First impressions matter, and on arrival we were concerned it might be a little run down. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case — our room was pleasant, comfortable, and spacious enough for a one‑night stay. The only downside was that the coffee and tea facilities were very limited, with just two sachets and a few milk capsules, and as the Inn closes early there was no staff around in the evening to ask for more. “The room was large and sparkling clean, with two beds and a seating area. We appreciated the large windows with a street view. The location is perfect— right in the heart of Stirling.”

“This was a nice wayside hotel for a night or two. The young lady at the front counter who checked us in was very pleasant and friendly. She even offered to help us carry our luggage from our car into the hotel. Now that's great service! It rained heavily one night and a lake formed on the north side of the parking area. We had to wait a few hours for the water to subside in order to recover our car. The parking area is shared by a few businesses, and unfortunately, there are large lorries that……

“The hotel is within a newly redeveloped area. It is new, but some nearby buildings are in disrepair. The location of the hotel is good. Many restaurants and shops are within 5-10 mins walk. The staff are chill and helpful. The room is also comfy.”

“The food for dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was fabulous! The rooms were tired although the bed was great some of the furniture needed updating. There was noise all night from a boiler (I think) which kept me awake. Overall a pleasant stay but a bit too pricey for the room stay.”
