This region is characterized by rolling hills covered in vineyards, olive groves, and small, picturesque villages. It's an ideal choice for couples seeking a tranquil and scenic retreat with a focus on gastronomy and wine. Many accommodations here are renovated farmhouses or villas, providing a private and comfortable stay.

Couples will find the Valpolicella region particularly appealing due to the abundance of local wineries offering tours and tastings. You can explore charming towns like Negrar, known for its historic villas, or Marano di Valpolicella, which offers stunning panoramic views. The focus here is on relaxation and enjoying the region's culinary delights, including Amarone wine.

For those who prioritize convenient access to Verona's city attractions while still enjoying a taste of the countryside, staying on the outskirts of Corrubio, closer to the A22 highway, offers a practical balance.

The best time to go to Corrubio is during the spring (April to June) and fall (September to October) months, when the weather is pleasant for exploring and the region's natural beauty is at its peak.

During spring, the countryside around Corrubio comes alive with blooming flowers and lush greenery, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and cycling through the vineyards. This period is particularly good for couples looking for scenic walks and wine-tasting experiences.

Fall offers a different kind of beauty, with the vineyards transforming into a palette of red and gold hues. The weather remains agreeable, generally between 10°C and 20°C (50°F to 68°F), great for enjoying harvest festivals and truffle hunting, which are prominent in the Veneto region. Travelers who appreciate culinary tours and local traditions will find this a rewarding time to visit.
