“Our stay at The Crane was a disappointing experience, especially as it was our 26th wedding anniversary and first visit to Barbados. We expected a world-class resort, but it fell short of expectations. Service was consistently poor, particularly in response times. On two of three nights, the air conditioning in our room failed. After the first night we were moved and credited, but the same issue happened again the last night, unacceptable. Our room phone did not work, and when we used our cell……

“We had a wonderful stay overall at the crane. The grounds are mature and lush, the staff is friendly and helpful, the varied dining options were great, the pools and activities were great fun. We loved the village feel and the room we stayed in was beautiful and well equipped. The only points for improvement would be 1) it was tough to get a great coffee (both in room and at the various restaurants), and 2) there needs to be more amenities for teens. “First off it’s a small place but that doesn’t take away anything. Its gorgeous!!!! Staff is beyond helpful. It has an amazing restaurant up top and is close to a lot of things. You will not be disappointed if you book this. We just celebrated our honeymoon there and already planning out next trip back.”

“The room is not clean at all. You can't see the ocean from your room or house which you must be careful when you decide to book. The host is not friendly as they come from New York and all they care is only money.”

“My husband and I rented the suite which has access to the rooftop as the balcony. It was very peaceful and spacious. We also enjoyed the pool and lounge area and had an amazing couple of days watching the World Cup at the bar lounge area with other guests. Such a great location to stores, restaurants and the beach. We will definitely be back.”

“The property is centrally located, especially for Oistins. It is located off Lodge Road, so it’s on a bus route with buses readily available for going to Bridgetown and surrounding areas. The host was impeccable. Wi-Fi was reliable and consistent.”

“The location was great. Only a 5 minute walk from the beach and walkable to St. Lawrence Gap for more bars and restaurants. The room was big enough and comfortable for a couple.”

Owner Mark and Property Manager George were fantastic to deal with and very prompt in responses. Location is great ..close to water and especially to Oistins! Would highly recomment checking this place out ..I know I will again.”
