“Devonshire House was clean and well maintained. The bedroom was roomy and clean as was the ensuite. Plenty of tea and coffee and extra left in the communal lounge if required. Could have done with extra towels, only a bath sheet per person and one hand towel, could have done with one smaller towel per person for after washing your hair..minor criticism and we did manage by sharing the hand towel.. Chris was very friendly and helpful. We took his advice and went on the FREE walking tour around……

“Street is missing a trick. The town is crying out for a great, modern hotel with the facilities to challenge what is currently available - it would be an absolute winner. I chose Mullions simply because of the limited options for overnight stays in the area. Unfortunately, the room itself was incredibly tired. I was met with broken furniture, dusty bedside surfaces and lamps, and a distinct smell of damp in the bathroom. Worse still, while the towels appeared clean, they carried a noticeable……

“Everything fine for a one night stop over, pub close by for a night cap. Only thing that spoiled it for me was the selfish people who arrived at 3.30am making a right racket. Not sure why people can’t be more considerate, but that’s a human problem not the accommodations problem!!”

“Had a great stay, room 1 was fantastic. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and a sofa was a bonus. Great bath, one thing to note may be the addition of a shower curtain, we managed to soak the floor every time we used it. Water and orange juice was a nice touch and filtered coffee was tasty. We did feel the stairs were very deep and the additional of another hand rail may be something to consider. Lovely dark room and we slept so well. Breakfast was great, nice to see all local and home grown……

“We had a lovely warm welcome from our lovely host who was so helpful and made us feel at home . It is a cosy , peaceful ,homely place with good vibrations . It was great to have the use of a shared kitchen, to cook a meal anytime! We helped ourselves to a continental breakfast and enjoyed the peaceful dining area overlooking the Tor! Next door is the comfy crystal room which was so very relaxing and rejuvenating. We were unsure about the shared bathrooms but no problem they were always free……
