“Place is clean and just far enough off the highway to reduce any noise from the highway room was excellant and everything was clean and well pt together the only issue is one of the two elevators is down for repair hopefully will be repaired before we return in a couple of weeks”

“This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property’s condition was unacceptable. After checking in, I immediately found the room was not acceptable and left within minutes. The hotel acknowledged the issue and told me they would refund the full charge. They even issued a credit to my credit card, but then reversed it without explanation. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter directly, I was unable to get the promised refund. I ultimately had to dispute the charge……

“We got in very late and we got checked in. The place was very old & dirty. There were dead bugs laying around. The bedspread had cigarette holes in them. We looked for bed bugs but thankfully didn't find any. It smelled like marajuana had been smoked in there or under us and the dead bolt on the door was cut out so it didn't lock. We were desperate so we stayed but if we had of had another place close we would have definitely left. I'm sure it wouldn't meet sanitation codes if checked. We……

“I travel a lot for business and this was an extremely clean property. I was hesitant, as in the past Red Roof Inns were not a place I would stay. This is an exception to the rule. The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room was very clean, smelled good, and had a comfortable bed and great AC. I would stay again.”

“Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows.
