“Stayed for the night on the way from DFW to Colorado. I felt like I was walking into my grandparents house back in the 70’s. I absolutely loved this place. It looks small on the outside but is massive on the inside. I e always stayed at the Best Western down the street but the highway traffic always woke us up. This is away from the highway in a quiet neighborhood. We slept great. ”

“Karen is a great host. The place suits our needs to a T. WiFi and TV operation are great! Allowed me to park my 6 X 12 enclosed trailer on sight which I used to bring out one of my bikes so I could occasionally ride to work and we can ride on days off. Great place for our older English Bulldog. Highly recommend if you are staying in this area.”

“This was a convenient stop for us on our way from Dallas to Colorado located just off US 385. The house is located in the center of Channing with a nice view of horses out the picture windows in the living room.As noted in other reviews, the house is located next to a rail line. We knew this going in but the trains came through at all hours of the night and sounded a horn due to the nearby intersection.Overall the house was fairly clean but it needs a deep clean to be rated higher.
