Upon first arrival, the property looks closed. Grass over grown, lights do not appear to be on. Once I checked in and went to my room it was dirty and had snack food crumbs on the bed. The room was dark and smelled awful comparable to a gym locker room mixed with the humid smell of Doritos. I decided not to stay there and when asked for a refund he replied we don’t do refunds, while the sign behind him said come back in 10 minutes if you are not satisfied for a refund. Then he tells me he cannot issue a refund and calls the management who shockingly won’t be back for about a week. He told me to call Expedia because there was nothing that he could do. Expedia has tried reaching the management person who could issue a refund a few times and they cannot get a contact from them. Keep in mind this also occurred around 4:00 on a Friday afternoon. There is no reason why this establishment could not have a competent staff on duty. Also my receipt was a hand written note.
