“I would give this property 100 stars if I could. We were so grateful when we arrived and found this house to be even better than we expected. It is super cute, extremely clean and the perfect amount of space for our family of 5.This home met every need, and more! It was pristine, had the most adorable decorations, and was very comfortable and cozy. It was also well cared for (it was not beat up like many other properties we have stayed in). We had plenty of towels, coffee pods, toilet...

“Not many Motels are excellent but this one was way above what we expected. Private outdoor seating for each room. Nice bathroom and great kitchette with a decent size mini fridge/freezer was a nice surprise. We were greeted with s'mores 'round a campfire on Friday night. Come on that's cute as heck. I heard from a reliable source that the place is undergoing "upgrades". We didn't hear a thing.”

“When I arrived at night I was told that my payment had been rejected (even though I hadn't received any notice of this) and that if I wanted a room I would have to pay $353 (the room rate quoted was 126€) in cash or with another card. Since I didn't want to be extorted I left and had to find another hotel in rural PA to spend the night. As a woman travelling alone this was not a pleasant experience and I believe hotels.com should remove this property from their listings for this unethical...
