"L'hôtel est de 1984 et pratiquement à l'abandon seul le personnel est très agréable mais sinon l'établissement par lui-même qui est la propriété du gouvernement soit disant a été rénové en 2011 mais tout est dans un état déplorable du reste il n'y a plus de clients. Quand au restaurant il n'y a plus de menu, un choix extrêmement limité seulement des plats principaux, même pas de dessert ni ketchup ni mayonnaise le minimum syndical. "The staff were courteous, proactive and very helpful. The quality and standard of the hotel room and other facilities were very high. The room was beautifully decorated and spotless. I also had the opportunity to use the restaurant, bar and gym where i experienced a very high quality of service. I enjoyed the buffet and the breakfast at the restaurant. It is qorth mentioning that the airport shuttle is very handy, makes your arrival and departure experience smooth. The botel also has good views of the city of Yaounde, i will always go back and recommend anyone visiting to make United their first choice."

"I never comment on hotels but this one is a hidden gem in Douala. The street it is on is not that great but the staff, the food, the room, everything is just perfect. It is a luxury hotel that is not pretentious and I love it. The only "critic" would be that the pool is small and directly in the bar/restaurant area so it lacks some privacy for people in bathing suits... I recommend strongly."
