“The room was excellent for all four of us. It was our first trip to Cornwall with our son and 6 year old granddaughter. Our hosts Fiona and James made us feel very welcome and we really enjoyed the full English breakfasts. The location was wonderful with open fields at the rear of the property and on occasion spotting a cow or two. It’s also only a 5 minute drive to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and highly recommend it to fellow holiday travelers.”

“It was our first trip to Cornwall and we stayed at this hotel for 9 nights. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and gave useful tips for our trip, such as taking the train from St Erth to get to St Ives (i.e. don't drive!). We booked this hotel as we wanted to have access to a pool with our young children and the facilities were great, and also included a hot tub. Breakfast was always great and the staff were friendly and attentive, and there are options to cater for coeliacs like myself.……

“Beautiful surroundings, pool area was lovely. We were disappointed with the room, it was tired the air con wasn't working well and the hot water wasn't great, the taps ran hot for a few seconds only and the shower went from hot to cold quickly.”

“Camelot castle is a perfect location for Tintagel . A short walk into the village which although busy is lovely. The views from the hotel are breathtaking with a costal path direct to the small beach( check tidal times before you go) There is a lovely bar where we purchased drinks and sat outside and watches the sunset. The hotel decor is amazing and have a comfortable lounge to sit on. Our room was plenty big enough with sea view, bathroom had a bath and separate shower too and was spotless.……

“Nice bed and very clean bathroom. The hotel and rooms could do with fresh lick of paint and new carpets given the cost of the room per night. Otherwise a nice stay right in the centre of Newquay.”
