“The staff was friendly and polite. Our double room was small and clean. However, the bed (room 29) was the most uncomfortable we've ever slept in. It was very soft and we could feel the springs sticking into us. We ended trying to sleep on top of the duvet. We would have asked to be moved but had travelled all day to get to Newquay and were exhausted. When reporting this to Reception the next morning we were told that all the mattresses were new!”

“Location location location. It is right in St Ives on the beach. Work out facilities were dated. Loud music playing with no consideration for guests working out. The restaurant is not a destination. Many other better options in the area. A watch out. If traveling with lots of luggage get ready for a strenuous pilgrimage from the train to the hotel up a winding path with stairs.”

“I truly enjoyed my stay here, the ammenities were well kept and clean, the staff were very attentive and friendly, the spa facilities were great, the food was delicious and of course the views were breathtaking.”

“Although it’s slightly dated, the rooms are super clean and Amir on the front desk is super helpful and accomadating and was helpful with late check in. The price is fair and I would definitely stay again.”
