“We had a lovely stay, the place was nice, it was close to some lovely walks on the beach and in nature parks. We liked our hot tub but it was just a tad too hot and it wouldn’t cool down with the controls, we even left the top open and it stayed at 40 degrees, we couldn’t stay in for very long. The shower was either boiling or freezing but we still enjoyed and can’t wait to go back some day :)”

“My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to……

“With 14 members of our extended family the large square dining table made meal times very user friendly. There were enough bedrooms to allow sleeping arrangements to suit all. There was a water outage for two and a half days - we understand there should have been compensation due - mention of this has been made to the host, an acknowledgement but nothing else so far”

“Unfortunately the snow dampened our experience as we didn’t want to get out and about in it but the owners were so lovely and the place was beautiful and clean and easy to get to. Will recommend it.”
