“My family had a great time at the Glain Orme. It was my husband, three children (ages 6,8,10), my mother-in-law and her friend. “The cottage was a real home from home, very clean and had everything we needed. It has some nice personal touches and the best info book we have seen. We have never stayed anywhere that provided all the kitchenware, utensils and foil, clingfilm, kitchen roll, toilet roll etc. so that was a nice surprise. Plenty of plates, glasses etc. Definitely not the bare minimum you sometimes find. The pantry had salt, pepper, oil etc. Tea, coffee and sugar was provided. It was a nice touch to find some……

"Location is perfect, facing the sea and we need only 1 minute to walk to the beach. I visited in mid-May, when the hotel was undergoing maintenance which was unexpected and left me certain disappointments. However, the rest experiences were in contrast and exceeded my normal expectation to a hotel. It did great in 3 very important basic things of a hotel, which are strong and hot shower, comfortable bed and pillow, and strong hair dryer (all were even better than most 5 stars hotels I have visited). Services also excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the waiter of the restaurant who was enthusiastic and sincere. Restaurant food was great and price was reasonably low. Carpet of the room was a bit old which was the only thing I did mind a bit. Will definitely visit again."
