“The Albemarle distinguishes itself in its attention to detail. Best shower I had in three weeks in Ecuador. Lots of hot water. Used books by the bed to read, board games...the list goes on. Plus the beachfront location is great with lots of bars and eating places within 5 min walk.Plus very attentive and helpful staff especially Samy at reception. “Friendly staff, very nice service, clean room, different fresh made breakfast every day. Hotel itself was very good and worth the stay even though it was in a bit of outskirt of the main town. For VIP access we meant to receive free airport transfer and room upgrade if available but didn’t receive it. Hotels.com displayed incorrect information and the hotel itself couldn’t assist with that. ”

“The staff was great. The included breakfast was delicious. We stayed one night and had dinner which was one of the best meals on Santa Cruz. What really set the hotel apart from others was the fact that we were able to check in when we arrived at 10:30 am. The grounds were beautiful with about 15 to 20 giant tortoises roaming freely among coffee, banana and orange trees. I would definitely recommend them.”
