"The room was spacious, however the bed was hard (expected this from previous hotel visits throughout Asia) and the room was not very sound proof as I was woken several times by noisy neighbours in other rooms. Nice selection of foods at breakfast - both western and Chinese, and laundry was same day service and very cheap for what I had cleaned. "The customer service was absolutely outstanding. They front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Siao Chou (小周) and Ting Ting (亭亭). They went out of their way to provide us with specific information about local tourist destinations and how to navigate the city. Our Guilin visit went well because of them. The only issue we had was the hotel only had one washer and dryer. They were mostly occupied during early morning and night. "
