Our room was supposed to have a „garden view with tower“, but the window overlooked garbage in a backyard. We were kindly offered different rooms at no extra cost, but we wanted to stay together in the family room (there were no other family rooms available). There was a low hanging antler chandelier which caused a gash on my brother-in-law‘s head. We asked for two extra pillows...

"Very friendly staff. despite electro outage, theytried their best. Clean ample rooms. Most convenient overnight for visiting Eltz Castle. Surroundings provide excellent hiking possibilities. Otherwise it is just a 20 min drive to the Mosel with more activities over steep windy roads. "

Their restaurant is just couple of minutes away and is a gem. I highly recommend to go there for a dinner you will not regret, the food is just delicious. "Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Beim duschen stand man im Duschwasser weil der Abfluss nicht ordentlich ablief. Das Bett war mir persönlich zu unbequem…Aber für zwei Nächte ging es. Ansonsten war alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Für den Preis hätte ich beim Frühstück aber auch zb. etwas Fisch und Rührei erwartet. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt „in Ordnung“"

"Ich war ein bisschen enttäuscht von der Unterkunft. Unser Zimmer, mit Sauna, war leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es roch nicht wirklich gut im Zimmer. Der Teppichboden war leider schon fleckig. Der Spiegel war nicht geputzt und in der Duschkabine müssten die Dichtungen erneuert werden. Der Putz an den Wänden im Zimmer bröckelte schon und wurde nur übermalt. Ich hätte irgendwie besseres erwartet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war auch gut. Grundsätzlich ein nettes...
