After you find one of the many cheap hotel deals in Paraguay, it's time to fill out the itinerary a bit. One of the more popular natural attractions is the Saltos del Monday. "Great hotel with perfect location"
New hotel right next to the airport. Everything new and nothing damaged. Excellent service. Food not that great but ok. Only negative: it was empty during my stay. No life at the bar, restaurant, etc. Perfect hotel if you don't care to be outside the city. Hotel can have driver pickup guest at airport for $10.

    "OK Place"
Staff spoke no English and were not very friendly or helpful. Of course I speak very little Spanish but in a tourism related area, some English would be great. At least friendly. Went to another hotel around the corner to get help on transportation, and things to see and do. Hotel is in a good location in town but a good distance from airport and bus terminal.

"Good Option with a Great Breakfast"
My husband, my sister and I stayed at Bella Italia in January, 2015 and found the hotel quite adequate. The room was comfortable if rather basic, one of the front desk staff was very helpful and was able to converse very well in English with us (unfortunately for us, the majority of the staff didn't speak English and we didn't have much grasp of Portuguese), and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we had during our time in Brazil. The complimentary airport pick-up was also nice. The location of the hotel worked well for us, too - the proximity to a large local mall was useful for snacks and a quick meal, and we could easily walk the approximately ten minute walk to the local bus station to catch the bus to the Falls, the airport, and to the Argentine side of the Falls as well. The tour company in the lobby provided day excursions to the Falls but we opted to find our own way and managed quite well via the local bus system.

"Great hotel for a family stay"
This a great place to stay for a few days while visiting the falls. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable three nights. We used the on-site tour operator (Yes) for a visit to the Brazilian side of the falls. The transportation and guide were both good, however the access to the national park and the path to the falls is really very easy to negotiate even without a guide. The charge was per person, and so for a party of four on a tight budget, booking taxis each way would be a more economic and just as practical option. We also used Yes to arrange private transport to the Argentine side. This was an excellent option as the driver was English speaking and took us via a bureau de change to get the exactly the right amount of Argentine pesos for the national park entry and helped with the border formalities. We also had assistance with the booking of a boat trip under the falls (which was great), however we believe that we paid substantially more than if we had simply turned up at the booking office on the day.
