“We were told we were upgraded to a villa. The villa was located at the opposite end of the property far away from the center of the resort where all restaurants and activities were. The villa was not clean when we got there. The shower curtain was in the sink, the floors and the kitchen were dirty and there were no comforters on the bed. The staff at the front desk were rude (specifically the evening shift). They were not accommodating at all. I would not recommend this resort to anyone. ”

“The staff were all very nice and welcoming and helpful. As for the room it looked like it had seen better days. The bathroom had cracked tiles and there was zero water pressure in the shower and at one point the water turned off all together. There was one single desk chair in the room and we had to bring in the balcony chairs inside just to have somewhere to sit down. I’m sure this room used to be nice when the hotel was first build but it looks like they haven’t done any refreshing or updating……

“Good location. A short walk (500 yards) up a steep hill from the main strip in English Harbour provides amazing views of Nelson’s dockyard near enough to walk to all the restaurants and far enough away from the noise of the nightclubs so the only sound at night are the tree frogs chirping. Annie and Roger are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. 10/10 for staff. Simple but delicious breakfast served on the large terrace overlooking the sea completes the peaceful charm of this colonial style……

“Away from the crowds ”

“When we arrived at the Copper and Lumber store they had double booked our room for 2 or the 5 nights. When we explained we hadn't heard from neither them or expedia and in fact had a check in reminder they offered nothing advising we had to find alternate accommodation. We spent over 5+ hours going between the hotel and expedia as neither party wanted to take ownership/payment of any new accomodation options for us even though they had the $2500 from my existing reservation. This hotel does not……

“What a wonderful stay! The cottages are steps from the beach (you wake up to the sound of the waves every morning) and picture perfect. The check-in process was seamless, and our host helped us with anything we needed for our stay. The room was clean and spacious, with lovely decor and amenities. Don’t hesitate to book a stay at Galleon Beach Resort! ”

“This is an affordable, comfortable option for a stay near English and Falmouth Harbors in Antigua. It works best for people who have other connections on the island like the Sailing Regatta. It is not a destination itself with the amenities of a resort.”

“We stayed in a very clean and quaint one bedroom, #12 which is upstairs. Met a few others there who were very nice. Two bottles of cold water, one of wine with flowers to greet us. All you would need to prepare heated meals, very nice refrigerator and everything any hotel provides, all done very nicely. Security is provided with fence and electronic gate opener. Finding Neem was just a tad difficult but once on the dirt road off main it was marked with signs. The location was on a hillside and……

“The apartment was lovely. They must buy new cookware as the pots and pans were from the 60's and should not be used. The shower curtain was 4 inches to short to water leaks all over the floor. There is a Constant poop smell coming from the toilet. Needs addressing. Apart from that everything was perfect. ”

“Initially the main reason I booked this listing was that a high chair was available which let me know it was child friendly. However, once we arrived the pictures did not do it justice, it exceeded mine and my family’s expectations. There were 5 adults and two toddlers and we had plenty of room to spread and feel comfortable. The property manager Loura was the best. great communication , service with a smile and always went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. For my first time……

Communication with Coleen was very easy and responses are quite timely. Her recommended taxi operator was the best!!”
