“Room was NEVER cleaned over 6 days despite sign in room saying they would every third day. Shower door would not close, and after asking for it to be fixed three times, we gave up and asked for extra towels to put on the floor. Upon arrival no hand towels, face cloths in room and no soap in shower dispenser. There was a coffee pot, but no coffee or cups. Had to go to desk for that. They didn't have any towels, but did provide some coffee, but no cups- said it would be dropped in our room……

“The food at The Palms Resort was good, and overall the stay ended up being okay. However, the first room we were given was dirty and had roaches, which was very disappointing. After bringing the issue to the staff’s attention, they moved us to another room the following day. The second room was much cleaner and definitely made the rest of our stay better. One thing I found inconvenient is that there are no phones in the rooms, so if you need to contact the front desk, you have to physically……

“Everyone was great. Convenient dining onsite. VERY clean. Beautiful location. Note: This resort does not have a swimming beach but easy drive to other beaches.”

“The toilet in our room was broken. The screw was broken so it couldn't be tightened back up. It moved and pinched my leg. I asked to have it replaced, but that never happened. The phones did not work so there was no way to reach the staff when needed. I felt that they might be able to move seaweed at the beach area daily in a spot so that the tenants could get to it. My favorite staff was the activities directors. Shawn and Alicia were great! Bartenders were fun! Food was limited for breakfast……
