This was my first hotel in Zanzibar and I would return in heartbeat to stay longer. The aesthetic was relaxing, the owners were present and enjoyable to visit with. The food was DELICIOUS!! The island is chock-full if friendly and comforting staff members which truly elevate the unique experience provided by the island itself. The villas were extremely clean and we didn’t even encounter one big inside ours. We stayed only one night on a quick pit stop to Zanzibar on our honeymoon inbetween safari and Seychelles. If we had to do it over again we would have spent all of our time in Zanzibar here with a quick day trip to stone town. Siriak is a very attentive but not intrusive host. Stayed here for one week and enjoyed it. The hotel is on a fairly busy beach in Stone Town. Breakfast was excellent, dinners were sometimes good and sometimes not but the salad bar was great. It is safe to walk around Stone Town with plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, fruits and spices for sale. When you book a hotel you always read reviews with a pinch of salt. This hotel has fantastic reviews and with good reason. Everything from the welcome to our departure was absolutely first class without exception. A few members of staff deserve a special mention - Bernard, Mtoto, Nema and Baracka all helped make our stay extra special. The staff in general are exceptional including the kitchen staff who turn out superb food time after time and catered to my wife’s vegetarian requirements...

Very, very nice! I've seen a fair share of high-end resorts and I can attest with confidence that Zuri truly is awesome! We stayed in a bungalow - it is very comfortable, clean, spacious, the terrace is lovely - facing the ocean and situated on a hillside so you catch the ocean breeze. The outside shower is amazing - you can see an attention to detail at every step. The resort has an abundance of tropical vegetation - a veritable garden of Eden! The food is pretty good but can get a bit boring...

Very friendly staff settled in a beautiful surrounding. Great pool, and everything is so clean. We felt really looked after. How ever, it said in various sites that there is a beach here, it is, maybe 25 sq meter in total, but with no acces to the sea, there is a very large ref.

Everything was over the top. The villa was spacious and so comfortable. Food was excellent. The spa is amazing. The best staff and service.

On arrival we were greeted by the manager Tony who was great throughout the trip. The check-in was hassle free. The property is nice and upgraded. There is minor renovations going on but without any inconvenience to guests. The resort was very private and feels like you have the entire staff and property all to yourself with minimal visibility of other guests except for the dining area. This property has everything. There’s a whole welcoming committee that greets you with lemongrass juice and the owner gave us an thorough tour of the property. I can’t say enough about how gorgeous our villa was. Once you are there you never want to leave. The customer service was the best I’ve seen while traveling. The food is exceptional. The high end accommodations make you feel comfortable. They have set a benchmark for an exquisite experience.
