“My husband and I only stopped overnight. We were confused about their one star rating. Anyone who has traveled knows the difference between a 1 star and 5 star. This is of course not a 5 star place. But i would say a solid 3 star. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned, the pool was clean, the staff was friendly and kind and helpful. We had dinner at La Mandolina that was the best food we've had in panama to date. Was there road noise. Yes...to whoever complained about this in other reviews. The……

“Stayed at Villa Coco in Santa Catalina with a group of five of us in a suite and had an incredible experience. The property itself is beautiful — the grounds are peaceful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything feels really well cared for. The staff were outstanding from start to finish: friendly, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent, and being able to borrow bikes to explore the area was such a great touch. The location is also ideal — nicely tucked away……

“You really can’t underestimate how beautiful the location is. However, the food was almost inedible and the Internet nonexistent. Had to go out looking for food and there’s not many restaurants around The facilities look like they have not really cared for them much but the location is amazing right on the beach The staff did a great job but were limited in their expertise and therefore we couldn’t eat there. Food was pretty bad. The breakfast however, was OK and had a variety of eggs or granola……
