“Casa Villamar was perfect in every aspect. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. Great location just 2 blocks away from the Malecon which gives a feeling of privacy, yet close enough to the action if you want it. “The property was not as it shows online. The resort was totally empty except for us. The security guard checked us in. Although they were empty, they put us on the fourth floor with no elevator. The staff that we did see over our stay were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The restaurant wasn’t open and the pools were not clean. Maybe it was off season, I don’t know. The staff is the only redeeming factor.”
