“The room is clean and comfortable, but the WiFi signal is very weak, and usually disconnected... The hotel is very near to Harlech Castle, just 3 minute walking distance, but it also means that the hotel situates on the hill as well... So it is better call hotel come to rail station to pick you up.... Dinner and breakfast are delicious~~ ”

“Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.”

“Cottage is ideally located, warm comfortable and cosy. Loads of empty beaches. The area is stunning. Harlech castle, Snowdonia, Portmeirion etc all within a few minutes drive We had a lovely week and were lucky with the weather for the time of year. Views across the estuary are outstanding. Had a minor plumbing issue which was rectified within 2 hours so first class communication and service. To be picky the cottage could use a lick of paint and a spruce up, especially the pots & pans but……

“I can’t recommend Aberdunant Hall enough, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We stayed in April 2026 for our wedding anniversary, unfortunately our son was taken ill whilst we were visiting, so we spent a lot of time at local hospitals getting him treated. By the evening we were exhausted and hungry - we had booked a table at the restaurant but our son ”
