"The condo was very clean and comfortable. There was no humidifier and the light over the sink was out, but after calling the front desk they brought us a humidifier and fixed the light. The light over the stove top only worked on low. Everything else was fine and we enjoyed our stay. "

"We always enjoy staying at Vaquera House. One of our favorite aspects has been the breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately on this visit the breakfast had gone notably downhill. While they had the same menu as before the quality of the main food dishes was notably less than before. As a result we ended up eating out for breakfast after our first meal. "We are a family of four (two adults, two kids) who wanted a vacation with a good combination of adult mountain biking & kid activities and this rental provided us the best of both worlds. We loved the accessibility and location of the condo and walkability to things going on around the mountain. We appreciated the little touches (hot tub towels, stocked kitchen, queen sized bunk beds) that made the stay awesome for our crew. We also really appreciated the communication and responsiveness of the host when we had one slight hiccup- overall the trip was fantastic and we would definitely stay here again. "

"The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is a fantastic place to stay in Crested Butte. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the mountain. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the beds were super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. Another great perk is the free bus service into town, which runs regularly and makes exploring downtown Crested Butte hassle-free. Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient mountain getaway!"

"Our family enjoyed 2 nights in this beautiful condo. Great views of mountains from our balcony. Everything was very tastefully furnished, clean and amenities were as described. So close to hiking trails that we enjoyed for 2 days,and just 3 minute drive to Crested Butte shops and restaurants. Only negative was the front door locking and unlocking. It was very difficult to operate."

"Condo was perfect for our family of 5. It was super clean, very comfortable, bedrooms large, had everything we needed so we didn't have to reach out to Richard and Donna much, but when we did, they were super responsive and accommodating. It was very easy to get to the slopes which is necessary for our family as we are often on different schedules and constantly in and out. Condo door is right inside the building door which, at first, we thought we wouldn't like, but it ended up being perfect... no flights of stairs in ski boots. Right inside the condo door is a spacious hallway with a long bench, large cubbies, and lots of spots for hanging gear and keeping it out of the way and out of sight. Ski racks right outside the door were wonderful too.To address a few things in other reviews... plenty of room for a family of 5. There are small TVs in the bedrooms which helped if need separation while relaxing. You can hear footsteps from above, it isn't horrible and really only noticeable early morning, white noise would drown it out. They have 2 air purifiers which we didn't run but I'd imagine would provide the white noise needed. There was a bit of a smoky smell when we first arrived but it quickly dissipated and became non-existent for the rest of our stay. I'd imagine it is because of the wood burning fire place and just needed to be aired out a bit.Bottom line, we all very much enjoyed our stay and would go back!"
