Esther checked me in. She was friendly and welcoming and efficient. This property is older and simple, but clean, comfortable, quiet and perfectly located by gas station, McDonald’s, donut shop, KFC and other walkable options. Lots of truckers in their clientele because of easy access to the highway. Perfect for a pre-airport night. Appreciate an affordable option!

Very clean room, full size refrigerator, updated wall shower area, Queen bed, working A/C, nicely furnished room with LED T/V, coffee maker, adequate breakfast, friendly front desk service, first floor room, close to Hershey Park, fantastic restaurants within a mile of the hotel, free parking and internet access, and very inexpensive rental $, what could be better.

My family and I have stayed here numerous times. If you’re on a budget and can’t afford one of the newer, fancier hotels this is a great place to stay. The prices are very reasonable. The staff has always been friendly, and courteous. The hotel is showing its age so some of the amenities aren’t as updated as other hotels in town, but you don’t go to Gettysburg to sit in the hotel the whole time. Personally I’d rather spend less on lodging, and have more money to spend out and about.

When you cut your vacation down to just a few days, you don't have to worry as much about hotel prices since you don't have that many nights to stay. For budget hotels in Dover, 3 to 4 days should be all the nights you need. That's generally enough to enjoy the city's top attractions, though there's certainly enough to do to warrant a week-long trip.
When booking cheap hotel rooms in Dover, it's typically best to book about 3 weeks in advance. Book further in advance than that and you could be paying too much for your room, as hotels will often overestimate future demand. However, if you wait too long, you might find that the hotel has been completely booked.
