Downtown Madison Vacations from $689

The property was dirty and extremely worn down every where. We also were going to have to pay for breakfast. I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn hotels for years and always had free breakfast. The only good part was the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was the best check-in experience in my entire life. I have traveled a lot. I arrived late due to a change in flights. I had called in advance, letting them know I would arrive late - booking two rooms. When I walked in the door at midnight, Logau handed me two room keys. Everything was already set. No forms, not credit card, nothing. Just go to your room. Wonderful. The next morning, the fire alarm woke us up at 8:15. Apparently, not an unusual occurrence - according to other guests that I spoke to. I had put the do not disturb sign on my door - but as we were leaving our room, we asked some staff cleaning the room next door to clean ours. Apparently, they didnt understand and the room was never cleaned. But we were happy with the hotel. The breakfasts are good. The hotel is clean. All the front desk people are great. A small but reasonable gym room. Parking is fine. Convenient to Madison and the airport.
