“Clean”

“The room was spacious, clean and had a great outlook over the river. It had everything you'd need in the kitchen. First impressions though are you are staying at a building site. Fencing, building materials and site signs are what you see first, the car park is unfinished, the reception is not operational. It well located and will be a top class motel when finished.”

“The room was tidy but unclean. There was dried vomit on the floor beside one of the beds from a previous customer. Staff were helpful when we asked for items to be restocked. A very negative experience on one of the nights, there was a domestic violence incident in the room next door and I had to call the police. We felt very unsafe. Won't be coming here again.”

“The room is quite spacious, new and clean, staff is friendly, the other part of the motel is under renovation, can see the ocean from the big slide glass door.”

“Easy and fast check in! We stayed as a quick overnight after exhausted travel, and we had such a great night sleep. We stayed in a room with a queen and a single for our toddler, and even he had a great sleep. The room was very fresh and clean, with a microwave, kettle and toaster. The wonderful lady who checked us in also checked us out and she was so lovely! We booked randomly because they had availability, but we would definitely stay again and recommend!”

“Located at side of Lake Macquarie. Must put Marks Point if you set GPS. The same highway number led us to a place 40 mins far away. Owner of motel is a friendly lady and give us valuable info of where to explore and eat. Will stay there again for future visits. Restaurant at Gunyah Hotel nearby is very good too.”
