“It was great fishing but no electricity and Jug water you have carry to be able take shower. Composting toilet . Everything would be great if you could drive to cabin you have walk away . And you use a wagon bring your stuff to cabin. We left to go get something to eat it started raining. So we had walk back to cabin in rain . And the water runs across right where you have walk to go to cabin . We got our feet soaked as well as ourselves. It was really a pain having us a wagon when we bought ice……

“We rented this guest suite for employees working on a short-term contract in the area. It was very clean and suited their needs perfectly. They enjoyed their stay!”

“This room is located right in the middle of the town square, making everything within walking distance. Abbeville is a quaint little town with lots of southern charm.”

“Check-in simple, home was adorable and clean. I did have a problem with WiFi…it would come and go and was never consistent. Owner probably needs to have it checked with provider. I still give the property top rating”

“What a fantastic place to stay. Super clean, comfortable, close to everything in Abbeville. The check in process was easy and simple, the host was very fast to answer when I had a question. I will definitely come stay at the Post Office again!”

“The owners were very easy to reach, remedied issues quickly; and friendly. The master bed is huge and comfy. We could not use one of the bedrooms the first night which was very frustrating because we were exhausted (it reeked of dog urine but they came the next morning and replaced rug and cleaned floor). There were also a couple roach sightings :( I would have given a 5 star if some sort of monetary recoup for the loss of one bedroom for the night had been offered.”

“During a hiccup getting in, the owner and rental managing company were very helpful rectifying the situation. The cottage was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and well-stocked with kitchen and bath items. The boat slip and ramp were just a quick walk from the cottage. And the restaurant, Break on the Lake, which is next to the boat ramp, had delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would gladly rent it again.”
