“Very nice and clean property, everything was thought of, road noise did not bother us, but there was several options for people with issues with noise. Loved the features and amenities. Really enjoyed sitting on the patio with the fire pit and having the electric fireplace inside for the cool evening, ”

The owners—a delightful couple—were accommodating and genuinely pleasant, adding a personal touch that made us feel welcome. One of the highlights was spending time on the back deck, which offered stunning views of the mountains and unforgettable sunsets, all accented by the charm of hummingbirds and wild turkeys in the yard.

“Location, location, location. Best shower of my life! Great Crabtree & Evelyn products. Right on the river! Definitely book the riverside room. Walk to the train (Must do!) and downtown shops and restaurants. ”

The property manager noticed on our reservation that we had kids traveling with us and made sure we knew about the river and games available to play on the property. We cant wait to go back and experience all that the property has to offer!”
“Room were a great size. and ours was an ADA room. Only things that would have made it better would have been a walk in shower. But with plenty of hand holds and a fairly low tub height we made it work for my wife.
Breakfast was pretty much normal fair , but everything was very well set up and very clean.”
“Really beautiful hotel with quaint rooms. Room was clean and had charm. It was wonderful to be able to book the hot tub in advance so you could enjoy that time with just the person you are traveling with. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to everything in the downtown. You could hear the train that passes by during the day but it was a positive for us. We would definitely stay again. Price was reasonable and on par with other hotels in the area. ”

“James checked me in and put a smile on my face just by being friendly. The room is great and parking is convenient. The AC works, it just needed an hour to get cranking. There's a cool stream nearby. The area is walkable; James recommended Fridas, an excellent Mexican restaurant about 3-4 blocks up the road. Great margaritas and tacos and excellent salsa, an easy walk. The trolley that moves people around town has a stop right here. The wifi is a little slow - but you're in Durango, go outside!”
