Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located right on the Jordan River where you can canoe, kayak, and fish for Trout, right out your front door. Private setting on 1,500 feet of frontage. Lake Charlevoix boat ramp is two miles away. You can canoe/kayak right to Lake Charlevoix from your front door. Boyne Mountain is less than 15 minutes away for skiing and golfing. Several golf courses are less than 10 - 20 minutes away. Traveling nurses or longer term renters welcome during months of November through May. Contact us for lower long term rates, minumum 30 days.

Amazing get away
My wife and I enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The house was very clean and well stocked. The location was beautiful and a perfect location for a northern Michigan quiet weekend. Very close to Petoskey, Charlevoix, and Boyne. East Jordan was a small town but had most everything you could need less than 10 minutes away. Highly recommend.

Fall Colors Weekend
Thoroughly enjoyed out fall colors weekend at this cozy, clean and comfortable cabin in East Jordan. Upon out arrival, Larry (owner) gave us a brief walk through of the place which we appreciated. Kitchen had everything we needed for making breakfast every morning. Enjoyed bonfires each evening with the firewood that was provided. King size bed was very comfortable for sleeping. Loved everything about this place. Hope to return sometime.

We had a nice time here. The place was recently renovated and was very comfortable with baseboard heat. We fished the Jordan River in several spots including the marina in town and took various day trips west, north and east for the fall colors. Thanks to our hosts for the local info and hospitality.

Perfect Northern Michigan location
We had an absolutely lovely stay here in East Jordan. Larry was a wonderful host - greeting us upon arrival and sharing local recommendations. The cabin has been beautifully updated and accommodated our family of five perfectly. We loved being along the river for fishing, sitting riverside to relax, and opening the windows at night for the perfect sleeping weather. The location was also perfect for daytrips to Sleeping Bear, Traverse City, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinac Island. And of course it’s right next to charming Charlevoix. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. Loved being by the river and found it very relaxing. Property owner was super, responsive to our needs and very friendly. Loved the decor, very up to date. Cabin was very clean and comfortable and a short drive to Charlevoix. We look forward to going back.

Perfect Time Away
What a delightful and beautiful place to stay. The owners are attentive and kind. The location was perfect for day trips and for just relaxing. There’s a swing by the river that was perfect for hours of conversation with coffee. And seats by the fire pit alongside the river for evenings spent enjoying time together. The cottage is quaint, well decorated and comfortable. This is a gem!!! Don’t miss your opportunity to stay here!!! We will be back!! What a fabulous vacation!!

Weekend getaway
The house and property are clean and well maintained. The host is friendly and helpful. There are a couple things to be aware of. The kitchen is stocked with bare minimum so if you’re planning an extended stay and eating in, bring your spices and condiments. You are not allowed to wear shoes in that house so may want to bring slippers. The house is on a busy road with loud truck traffic. The bathrooms are tight and may not accommodate larger folks. Overall we had a pleasant experience and enjoyed being centrally located. We loved sitting around the fire pit next to the river! Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Perfect getaway
Our family of 5 had a great weekend on the river. The house was very modern and super clean! The yard was big enough for our kids to play catch and yard games. We really enjoyed relaxing by the bonfire pit next to the river. The owner was very accommodating and great with communication. We will definitely be back!

Charming Cottage on the River
Wonderful place to stay! The cottage is even cuter than than the pictures, very clean, updated, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The master bedroom/bath and kitchen are super, and relaxing in the living room or sitting on the riverbank just can't be beat. The location is ideal, there's beauty all around. It's close to lots of good things, a great central location for places like Charlevoix, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Boyne City, Walloon Lake, Gaylord, and several less known interesting spots. The whole area is so scenic with all the hills and curves, trees and lakes. Larry and Lisa are very personable and helpful hosts, readily available to answer questions and give information. This is a place where you feel cozy and comfortable and just don't want to leave. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful Home on the River
This property was exactly as described. We loved it. It was newly decorated and renovated and very well equipped. The house itself sits on the Jordan River and we enjoyed fishing and kayaking there. Our hosts were very responsive with any questions we had, were close by and easy to contact. They even met us at the property to let us in. Hands down Five+ stars and would definitely stay again when in the area.

Cozy River cabin
We were very happy with our stay, the cabin was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed fishing off the river bank and having bonfires at night. The host was very helpful and attentive. Cabin is close to downtown East Jordan and also not a far drive from downtown Boyne. I would say this is the best stay we’ve had yet using Vrbo , we will definitely recommend to others!
