Good apartment, but noisy, "well lit" location

The apartment was fairly spacious and clean. I was happy with the apartment, but there were a number of problems with the location. The apartment was located on the second floor beside a busy road. That was OK, but on the other side of the road is a wine bar, where the patrons like to chat quite loudly until 5 am in the morning. I am happy for them, but it is not always easy to sleep when people are shouting and singing outside your window at 3 am in the morning. Another problem is that some genius attached a street light to the apartment where the street light was directly above the bedroom window. I kid you not. Seriously, who with a grain of common sense would think that it is a good idea to locate a high intensity street light directly above a bedroom window of an apartment?

Very large room

This was an apartment that the room have a open kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and dining room. It really like a home. But the reception was a bit far away from my building, a bit difficult in finding the reception. However the location was very close to the station.

愛丁堡的Fountain Court Apartments

整理而言 是個很不錯的旅店 整體呈現出來的就是回到家的感覺 可以開伙可以洗衣服 雖然說這次的旅行我們並未用到這個功能 但是看到真的感覺很棒 附近也有些便宜的東西可以吃 只是走到castle可能要15分鐘 有點小累 哈

Surprisingly spacious and well equipped.

A large, clean apartment with a double bedroom, bathroom (with bath) and living/kitchen area. Well located - an easy walk to all the touristy bits of town. Also well priced for the location and provisions.

Hot water issues

No hot water 2 out of 5 mornings as problems with boiler which is just not acceptable. Promised would come over within 10 mins each time to sort but I had to chase 40 mins later. I was staying for work so twice had to go without shower before leaving. The boiler needs replaced/permanently fixed as losing pressure. This would have been a great apartment if it wasn't for hot water issue.

Basic apartment near haymarket

Apartment was very basic, not the nicest one I’ve stayed in. Check-in wasn’t at the actual apartment which I hadn’t realised but it wasn’t too far away. Apartment could be doing wit modernising. Okay to stay in if you are not planning to be in it much.

El edificio es muy viejo, la entrada asusta un poco, no tiene ascensor, pero en cuanto entras en el apartamento es perfecto. Sala-cocina, dormitorio y baño, equipado con absolutamente todo, esta al detalle. Esta a 15 minutos andando de la princess street y a 15 tambien de grassmarkt. En la calle de al lado hay un par de supermercados abiertos hasta las 23 00 por lo que es muy comodo para comprar lo que vayais a cocinar. Como pequeño fallo, la calefaccion no calienta demasiado y en el salon se notaba mas frio. La estructura de la casa es muy vieja, como toda la ciudad, y al andar la madera se movia por toda la casa. Nuestro apartamento, el 18, daba a la parte trasera asi que perfecto, no se oia ni un ruido, si da para la carretera imagino que seria mas ruidoso. Em general, perfecto, volveria sin duda.

Leuke studio met veel voorzieningen. Wel hebben we een koekenpannetje gekocht, omdat we niet zonder konden. Kamer zou schoner mogen, want mijn vriendin met stofmijtallergie kreeg het flink benauwd. Bed is aan vervanging toe.

Apartment was OK. Clean and basic but very expensive (probably because it was new year.) Had to call out the maintenance team as the hot water was not working but, it was soon sorted. Having an issue with fountain court as the receptionist charged me on checkin rather than taking a holding payment.(he acknowledged this was his mistake.) He was advised by his managed to refunded this at the end of the stay 'as it would be quicker for me' and was assured this would happen however, it has not. As I went to sort this out at the end of the stay i was again told it would be sorted that day and I would receive an email but, nothing as yet. Really annoying end to what was overall a pleasant stay.

Perfect place for transport to the airport from the tram! Not really close to tourist sites though. Also the place is old and not very clean. If you decide to go out to eat go to McKirdy’s steakhouse one of the nearby steaks I have had!!

I have stayed a lot of times in this chain, but never in Morrison. The apartment is well located closed to Haymarket and it's very comfortable.

People very welcoming. Great experience for the check-in. What could be improved: no hot water the first morning due to a lack of water pressure. Good point: someone came under 5 minutes to take care of it. Another improvement: the sofa is covered with white marks. We did not sit on it..

Lovely Edinburgh ❤️

My overall experience while staying in Fountain Court has been very good. The property is walking distance from major tourist attractions (20 to 30 mins) and very close to Haymarket Station so connectivity isn't an issue. A very comfy and quiet place with all the basic amenities inside. Although bathroom was small in comparison with other apartments but is acceptable. A nice overall experience, will definitely recommend to others.
