It was exactly the retreat that my wife and I wanted. The place can be a little tricky to find after dark so checking in during daylight is key. “Awesome place to enjoy nature and check out the area of Julian. Loved the amenities including the porch bed swing and multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy. Kitchen has tons of appliances and utensils for cooking and baking. Only issues we encountered was the jet tub off the main bedroom was out of service, the downstairs room off the kitchen was sweltering hot, and turning on the AC for the main area wasn't straight forward, as the remote downstairs said it was on, but we had to manually turn it on...
