Really enjoyed my stay here. Had an early arrival and was able to have our luggage watched while we could check in. Staff was very friendly & amenities were 10/10

The hotel itself was very nice but breakfast was bad for both days (7/5 and 7/6). On the first day, they cut off the omelet line 1/2 hour before breakfast ended. We weren't told about this during check-in. And on the second day, the omelet station wasn't even open. There was no sign telling guests about it. When we asked someone, we were told there's no omelet on Saturday. Again, we weren't told about that during check-in. The other breakfast choices were average at best. It's not even on par with Holiday Inn Express. I chose this hotel mainly because of the omelet breakfast and without it, it's not worth the money we paid.

Had a great five night stay. That said the breakfast lacked variety and certain items didn’t get re-stocked during our stay. We were skipped one day for room cleaning. Gym was just about the best one I’ve seen at a hotel.

It is near a mall which is walking distance. Other little shops for food and drinks are nearby. The bar is open at night which is the best place to unwind.

It was my first time at an Ayres property, and wow! I was thoroughly impressed. Friendly staff, beautiful building, and the basic king room had nothing basic about it. The bathroom had a shower, and a soaking tub. The room had a king bed, and a 3 seater couch, mini fridge, and it was so spacious. Will definitely be staying here again when visiting my family in Chula Vista.
