Staff was quite nice tho there was a sense they were fed up with their clientele that weekend. Still, very nice. Rooms were clean and everything worked the way it should’ve. Our room rate came with breakfast. I think everyone’s did, actually. At first the make your own waffle bar was fun but then I realized they didn’t have real butter. Just a “spread”. And the batter and syrup came out of a machine so who knows what it was made from. Then they didn’t offer real half and half for the coffee. I was out. But for what it was, pretty good. So if that stuff and powdered eggs don’t bother you, you’ll love it.

Excellent place to stay. The room was modern and very clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive, from the hotel lobby front desk, to the kitchen staff, to the cleaning staff, everyone gave excellent service. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town.

Admittedly I only stayed one night and it was strictly to sleep, but everyone at the hotel was really, really nice and very personable. The room and bathroom had everything you could need and the bed was great. I got the first good night's sleep I've had in a while. The breakfast offered had a decent variety, your usual continental type foods, but also fresh, hot eggs, potatoes and sausage and even a waffle station. I will stay here again next time I visit Chula Vista!

The property is well kept. It is clean. The lobby is welcoming. They could use more holiday decors, as the lobby is huge and a little bare -- not a big deal though. The room was huge (and also a little bare, but again, not a deal breaker). I am giving the hotel 4 stars, as I did not like how soft the pillows were. They were so soft. The moment your head hits the pillow, it falls flat. I woke up with a sore neck. Checkout was easy. You just leave the keys in a box by the front desk. Front Desk agent just stared at me as I dropped my keys. There was no acknowledgement or a simple "Thank you for staying with us."
